Many of us still hide. And it's not a game anymore.
I know. That was my life for much of my adult years. I hid from myself, from others, from God, from the truth, from lies. The lies about who I was had taken such hold, had grown such strong roots that the lies were how I saw myself. I couldn't see the truth.
When we hide from what we believe is true and is not, we also hide from what is true.
The lies in our head distract us from who God says we are. We are forgiven, a new creature, complete in Him with the power to be and do whatever God has for us.
Many in the body of Christ still hide
Hiding from:
The not-enoughs
The reminders of past wrongs
The perceived failures
The version of them that they think they are
Guilt-real and false
And it's costing:
Confidence
Peace
Productivity
The blessings of obedience
Closeness with God
Fulfilling their calling
Great relationships
Being fully engaged

"...but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."
Romans 12:2
This is how we take control.
When we do our part in our transformation the Holy Spirit creates
deep and lasting change. Our brains rewire to give us truth as our
default.
We can be free of the thoughts that hold us back from God's plans
for us.
The result is freedom, confidence and peace.

It was my privilege to recently host Linda as a speaker for a group of professional businesswomen. Linda is an engaging communicator who not only inspires and encourages, but also equips her audience with practical, meaningful tools they can immediately apply.
Her message resonates across professional, personal, church, and community settings alike. Through the lens of the Christian faith, she thoughtfully challenges individuals toward greater self-awareness, growth, and purpose in a way that feels both authentic and empowering.
Our group left encouraged, motivated, and better equipped because of Linda’s wisdom and presence. I would highly recommend her to any organization or group seeking a speaker who brings both heart and practical value. Melissa Gehrig, C3 Leaders Board Member

What event are you planning?
I have found that this topic resonates with most people. No matter how well we hide it, we are all affected until we get intentional
about addressing the lies that keep us from God's best for us. This subject is foundational to our faith, to our identity and our obedience.
I would love to bring this message to your group. It is entertaining, at times light-hearted, at times serious and full of the authority of scripture. The talk concludes with a reminder of their beauty and a call to unveil it by coming out of hiding.
I know. That was my life for much of my adult years. I hid from myself, from others, from God, from the truth, from lies. The lies about who I was had taken such hold, had grown such strong roots that the lies were how I saw myself. I couldn't see the truth. I loved God, I believed He loved me. But I didn't love me. It was a prison of not being enough and fearing I never would be. As I have talked to others, both in and out of the faith community I am aware how prevelant this is. We can put on a polished, confident front but inside we wrestle with imposter syndrome, from limiting beliefs about ourselves and we are prey for the accuser's condemnation to define us and hold us back.
This is not the life that God wants for us.
